Care Guide

Storage

To prevent damage, store your wooden watch properly when not in use. Your new recycled wood watch comes with a recycled storage box. Protect your eco-friendly watch from extreme temperatures. Even though our natural watches are coated, wood can still warp or split in very hot or cold conditions. Keep the wood watch away from direct sunlight, heaters, and cold environments.

Cleaning

Cleaning is crucial to maintain the appearance of your vegan watch. Although our wooden watches are 3ATM water resistant, prolonged exposure to running water or submersion should be avoided. Natural wood absorbs moisture, which can lead to warping.
Use a soft cloth to clean your vegan watch regularly, removing any dirt or dust. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive materials, as these could scratch or tarnish the wooden watch.

Other considerations

Magnetic fields can affect the performance of your handmade watch. Keep it away from magnets, and have it serviced regularly by a professional to prolong its life. Repairs should always be done by a professional if possible.

About Zebrawood

Origins

In tropical West Africa, including countries like Cameroon, Gabon, and Nigeria, Zebrawood grows primarily in the region's dense rainforests, harvested from the Microberlinia brazzavillensis tree and upcycled into our eco-friendly watches.

Common use

This wood is highly sought after for its distinctive appearance resembling a zebra's stripes, perfect for high-end furniture, which we recycle into our wood watches!

Colors & Wood grain

Zebrawood showcases striking dark and light stripes across a color palette of browns visible throughout this women's watch.
