Care Guide

Cleaning

Cleaning is essential to keep your wooden watch in good condition. Our natural watches are 3ATM water resistant, but avoid exposing them to running water for long periods or submerging them, as wood absorbs moisture and may warp. To clean your vegan watch, use a soft cloth to remove dirt and dust from the exterior. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the wood watch.

Storage

Proper storage will help protect your wooden watch from chips or scratches. When not in use, store it in the recycled box provided. Wood watches are sensitive to extreme temperatures. Although our watches are coated, natural wood can warp in hot or cold conditions. Keep your natural watch away from direct sunlight, heaters, and cold temperatures.

Other considerations

Magnetic fields can interfere with your wooden chronograph watch's functionality. Keep it away from magnets, and have it serviced regularly by professionals. Repairs should always be done by a professional when available.

About Ebony & Red sandalwood

Origins

Red Sandalwood is native to southern India and parts of Southeast Asia, whilst the most valuable African Ebony comes from West Africa.

Common use

Historically used in fine woodworking, traditional medicine, and dyes, Red Sandalwood holds cultural significance in various rituals, where Ebony wood is particularly prized for its use in fine furniture and carvings. Both making a great base for our handmade natural wood watches crafted from recycled furniture.

Colours & Wood grain

Red sandalwood is characterised by a deep red colour palette which works perfectly against the rich black colour of natural Ebony wood in this sustainable watch.
